This is one received by WebKor for one of our own Domain Names! As you can see they want $75 for a year which includes "seo submissions". SEO submissions are nothing more than a ripoff guaranteed to get you an endless bunch of spam and probably result in actually reducing potential good rankings for your domain name. SEO is something that should be carefully coordinated and involves much more than just submitting a domain to every search engine out there on the internet.
Domain name scams
Have you received email or snail mail with "Registration Expiring" or something involving your domain name that looks peculiar? Some unscrupulous domain registration companies mine the WHOIS database and send spam/marketing emails that are often misleading and untruthful in order to get you to "renew" your domain name registration. Usually what this does is "transfer" your domain to these less-than-honest companies which DOES renew your domain name. Most domain name transfers add 1 year of life to the expiration date with only a couple of exceptions.
